The Cancer Center at Ocala Regional Medical Center provides Marion County's only approved cancer program. 

From prevention to diagnosis, treatment to recovery, and even emergency services, The Cancer Center at Ocala Regional Medical Center offers comprehensive care for the cancer patient and the patient's family.

Our multi-disciplinary staff consists of board certified physicians, certified oncology nurses specialized pharmacists, case managers, licensed dietitians and a dedicated group of volunteers. Together, they all provide the very best cancer care.

Inpatient Oncology Services

The Cancer Center has a dedicated inpatient unit. Most rooms are private. the family-centered care approach encourages involvement of family and friends and the use of our Cancer Resource Room.

Outpatient Oncology Services

A dedicated outpatient unit offers specially trained nurses who provide the best possible care to each cancer patient. The services available are chemotherapy, blood transfusions and other therapies for cancer patients.

Diagnostic Imaging

Services used to determine the location and specific type of disease are provided at Ocala Regional Medical Center and West Marion Community Hospital. These include: Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, CT Scan and MRI.

Surgical Services

Surgical oncology services are provided in our inpatient and outpatient surgical areas.

Comprehensive Laboratory Services

The Joint Commission of Accreditation of Health Care Organization (JCAHO) and College of American Pathologists (CAP) approvals insure that we have quality laboratory services for all patients.

Radiation Oncology

Full radiation therapy services are available a short distance from the hospitals.

Support Services

The Arts & Healing program offers support groups, spiritual connection, art, exercise and yoga for the cancer patient and the patient's family.

In 1977 the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons granted Ocala Regional accreditation as a Comprehensive Cancer Program.  With 20+ years of service to our credit, you can trust you'll be treated with the best of care.

We work hand in hand with The American Cancer Society, Hospice of Marion County, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to provide a well-rounded cancer program while offering a variety of services.
